In High School
Played four years of varsity softball at Frisco Centennial High School under Coach Mike Dyson as a utility player…earned All-District honors 2012-2015 as utility player of the year and defensive player of the year honors…played for Texas Force, Texas Fireballs, Texas Elite Bancroft, and the Frozen Ropes Diamonds.
In College- Arkansas Tech University
Started every game as a Golden Sun as shortstop since Freshman year. Won 3 Great American Conference Championship titles. Appeared in Super Regional Qualifier in 2016. Appeared in Regional qualifier two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019. Earned the Great American Conference All Decade Team in 2019.
Coaching
In the fall of 2019, I returned to Arkansas Tech to be a Graduate Assistant Coach for Kristina McSweeney. I worked mostly with hitters and middle infielders to prepare and progress them each and every day for competition. I also participated in organizing and carrying out softball camps for all age groups.
Coach Danielle Turner is the Assistant Softball Coach at Texas Woman’s University. She is from Conyers, Georgia after graduating high school, she went on and played collegiate softball at Darton State College (Junior College). After two years, she graduated and finished her collegiate career at Albany State University as a starting infielder. After college, she became a Graduate Assistant Softball Coach at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska. Two years later, she graduated and is now the assistant softball coach at TWU. During collegiate softball career at Albany State University, she was able to help her team win the 2018 SIAC Softball Championship in a 4-3 win to complete their undefeated conference play for the 2018 season.
